Leadership is not an innate trait but rather a product of life experiences. At the behest of a military supervisor, I underwent a self-assessment using the Values in Action (VIA) personality strengths test to ascertain my leadership aptitude. The VIA results highlighted strengths in collaboration, perseverance, and sound judgment, while indicating areas for improvement in compassion, spirituality, and socialization. To enhance my leadership, strategies were formulated, including focusing on strength development, fostering self-leadership, and seeking mentorship.
